Edmonton’s Food Bank accepting non-perishable donations at all K-Days gates
EDMONTON, AB – Edmonton’s Food Bank is in need of your non-perishable food bank donations. There are four days left to bring your donations to the East, North and South Gates at K-Days. If you wish to make a cash donation, Edmonton’s Food Bank will be accepting monetary contributions inside The Neighbourhood in the Alberta Ballroom of the Edmonton EXPO Centre.
Want to feed your family and another family too? The Monster Burger is back at K-Days! Featuring 1 kg of beef, 1/2 kg of bacon, 1/4 kg of cheese and a whole lot of fixings—it’s only available at the Monster Burger concession for 10 days, so you don’t want to miss it! Make sure to order it at least 40 minutes ahead of time and do so knowing that for each one ordered, 1 kg of beef will be donated to Edmonton’s Food Bank. In 2011, 300 lbs of fresh meat went to needy families across the city.
